It's all fun and Games Until Someone Needs a Bath

Image
Animals hate baths. That's just common knowledge. It is also common knowledge that of any animal, cats hate baths the most. My cats are no exception to this fact. Nevertheless, sometimes it just needs to be done, so that's what I did today. I tortured my kittens with a bath. Dina knew exactly what was happening and ran to the closet to hide while Hugo just thought she was playing a game. I had to give Dina her bath first because, well, Hugo wouldn't hear it coming.               Dina Figured it out and went to hide But there was no escape... Hugo didn't hear her screams (that were actually like whispers because she has no voice) and didn't know that he was about to get a bath too... He took it a lot better than Dina. Hugo didn't really know what to do so he just fell limp and it made it so much easier. I have a love-hate relationship with bathing my pets. I hate that they don't like me for a while after, but they loo...

Short Scares: Episode 2

I've been watching more short horror films, and all of them so far (its been like 7) are all painstakingly boring, predictable, and just stupid. I'm not going to put links to these because they're not worth it, but I am going to nit-pick a one that was especially bad. SPOILERS AHEAD Alexia Okay, so quick overview. This guy, and a friend are messaging on FaceBook and he is stalking his ex-girlfriend's page because its her birthday and she killed herself. So, the girl says she's coming over and gets offline. What does he do? Does the title Unfriended mean anything to you? He unfriend's her; the stupidest thing he could've done (I'm pretty sure there's even another knew movie coming out that's the same thing). Anyway, he unfriends her and weird things start hap...

Today is the day! It's Halloween and in the spirit of this spooktacular holiday I'm going to post the beginning of a scary story. Let me know if its worth finishing in the comments. Living Words Once upon a time... that's how stories are supposed to start. My grandmother died before I was born, but even so, she left me a book. A monstrous, red book; covered with gold ornamental designs. It also had a thick, brown, leather belt tightened around it, keeping it shut. My mother gave me the book on my 18th birthday saying that I needed to be very careful with it and never leave it open. I always thought it was because the book was fragile and she was afraid the pages would get damaged or something. It wouldn't be until years later that I found out, I was wrong. "Ow! Son of a-" I exclaimed, rubbing my head and reaching down to pick up the dusty, old book that had clobbered me. I remember this book,  I thought, carefully moving my fingers across the red and gold...
