Black Friday

Image
Black Friday is a tradition we all know too well. The crazy people flying through the stores trying to find the best deals on whatever it is they are getting people for Christmas, the long lines, and the classic “ I got here first ” fights never seem to get old. I had to work Black Friday this year and it was kind of a disappointment. There were no fights, there were no crazy people, just the long lines which have to be the most boring part of the whole event. I opened the jewelry counter at Kohl ’ s in Findlay at 5 p.m. on Thursday. There was already a line outside the building when I got there at 4, and I was expecting a huge rush at the start of the night. I held my hopes too high. There was no mad rush, there were no fights, there weren ’ t even semi-angry people running around because they didn ’ t get the stuff they wanted. Just perfectly sane people walking around being polite, saying excuse me, asking for a hand from the people around them and others gladl

Happy? Holidays

I have a love-hate relationship with the holiday season. I love the holidays (Groundhog Day is my favorite and is totally under appreciated), I love them because they're the holidays and who doesn't love them, right? There's Thanksgiving, The fat people's holiday, it is the day that the entire country has an excuse to eat everything they can fit into their stomachs for no reason what-so-ever. Thanksgiving is the most incredible, yet pointless holiday in the whole holiday season. There is no reason we should celebrate a bunch of badly dressed foreigners deciding it was not a good idea to kill the only people that knew how to survive in that time. Well, they knew how to survive everything with the exception of smallpox, because that's what the pilgrims brought to the first Thanksgiving. "Thank you" the pilgrims said, "We will survive because you are smarter than us and we will thank you with a disease that will kill you all... you're welcome,&quo

Have you ever gotten emails from companies asking you to try their products for free, and all you have to pay is shipping? Of course you have, right? Who doesn't get those emails? I recently got one of those emails for an all natural weight loss pill called garcinia cambogia. (these are also advertised on snapchat stories) It was a 30 day free trial, all I had to pay was shipping, and me being the insecure blob of a human I am, of course I said why the heck not? I paid the shipping and got my pills a few days later. I've been taking these pills for two days now, and in the email they said that you would be able to see and feel a difference in as little as two weeks. I intend to find out if that's true. I am going to post before and after photos each week for the entire 30 day trial which will end up being a little over 5 weeks. At the end of it I will also post a day one and a day thirty photo to show the changes (if there are any)... Before
